Our interactive sessions will cover key phrases\, cultural insights\, ministry vocabulary\, and Episcopal worship in Spanish.  \nThis course will meet twice a week from May 5 to July 23. The unique setup allows the Monday class to focus on learning new concepts\, while the Wednesday class will be used to practice conversation skills with native speakers. DESCRIPTION:Stevenson School for ministry open house all are welcome to choose a workshop\, join a class\, meet with faculty and students.\nJoin us for our Spring 2018 Reorientation weekend.  Along with an opportunity to conclude your classes with your fellow students and faculty\, we will also have some great workshops: \nWorkshop Opportunities \n1:00 PM to 3:30 PM May 11th Workshop #1 Handling Anxiety- Led by the Rev. Shawn Strout \nOne of the most difficult aspects of parish ministry is handling anxiety.  Studies have shown that clergy are more susceptible to anxiety and depression than most other professions. This session will discuss ways to handle anxiety in three key areas: personally\, interpersonally\, and systemically. Much of the information presented will be based on the marriage and family counselor Edwin Friedman’s seminal work. \n  \n12:45-3:30 May 12th Workshop #2 Addiction and the Christian Origins of the 12 Step Program- led by The Rev.
